Good Vibes is a combination of a gift shop, metaphysical store, and a custom full service floral shop. Good Vibes' selection of gifts offers special and meaningful sentiments, prices that are low & competitive without paying the high markups of boutiques, and are unique & fun. You will find a treasure to love or discover a little gem to make some one else smile – and even better, it will be gentle on your budget.
As a florist, we love to accentuate our creative artistic flair. We like that our custom arrangements do not look like another cookie cutter copy of the other florists. Besides being unique, we specialize in tribute funeral arrangements that are personalized and memorable. Good Vibes does not cut any corners, and make sure we put the time and energy, our heart and spirit, into making the perfect arrangement that expresses just the right meaning and message.
Good Vibes is also know for its metaphysical products such as sage, crystals, salts, incense, and more. Metaphysical is a term which represents, “that which is the things of Nature and the Universe; an understanding of that which is beyond material reality; a posited idea of reality that exists outside of human sense perception.” This includes, but is not limited to, topics of time, space, consciousness, spirit, energy, creation, and dimensions. The store is an inviting and welcoming sanctuary for Lightworkers, Wanderers and Star Seeds, Indigos, and Empaths. At Good Vibes, you will come in as a stranger but always leave as a friend.

Good Vibes Gifts & Flowers was established back in 2019, originally located in Southington for just over a year before moving to downtown Plainville. The vision of Good Vibes is to provide a positive “feel-good” shopping experience, bring inspiring energy to the community, offer unique affordable products that our customers can be excited about, as well as contribute some lighter, happier, uplifting feelings to the day. The store offers gifts and sentiments that can brighten up the mood. Good Vibes is always an inviting place that emphasizes kindness and welcomes everyone!
About the Owner
Meet Melody:
Melody held a floral design and horticulture certification in her early years, and was originally mentored by a NY floral designer, while being heavily concentrated in art. Over the years that followed, Melody (Jennings) Santos held various upper management and human resource jobs. Melody worked as Operations Manager for an armed security & protection company, and she was licensed with the DPS as an instructor and co-developer for the CT State Security Officers Licensing Course, as well as authorized to fingerprint for state and federal background checks.
Also during that time, Melody and her husband owned a marital arts school teaching self-defense and Olympic-style Taekwondo. Combining her expertise, Melody would also periodically provide personal protection for domestic court case, small & large events, workplace violence issues, and as an occasional body guard. Her educational degree is in Social Work and Family Violence Intervention.
Melody has spent almost 35 years as a research junkie in such subjects as ancient archaeology and history, religions, Indigenous American & world cultures, various sciences including earth sciences, quantum(realm) physics and astronomy, the paranormal, and other studies that delve into advanced spiritual concepts, wisdom and philosophies.
During the most recent years, in addition to owning and managing Good Vibes, Melody has been actively involved the community, helping to serve others, as well as volunteering with many various nonprofit agencies and serving on various advisory boards.
Melody created Good Vibes Gifts & Flowers as a way to continue her community outreach, as a creative outlet for bringing light & love to others and a way to combine all her other favorite interests.

Hi! I’m Tess. I’ve been working at Good Vibes since January of 2021. You can usually find me working on our social media, updating the website, or merchandising store shelves. In my free time I enjoy hiking and playing with my dog!

Hi I’m Desiree! I’m one of the florists here at Good Vibes Gifts & Flowers! I enjoy floral design because I love creating- especially when what I make brings smiles to people’s faces. My favorite flowers are lavender and blacked-eyed susans.
Fact: I keep a tiny jar of whiskers that my cats have dropped.
Samara
Hi! I’m Samara! I’ve been working at Good Vibes for a couple months now. I am a sales representivive and am starting to learn floral work as well. I love to use my creativity to draw and make posters for the shop!
